No One Killed Jessica has breathed life in Rani Mukerji’s career. After grabbing a plum role in Reema Kagti’s next with Aamir Khan, she has been signed for an Anurag Kashyap film. The film is titled Aiyaa and will be directed by critically acclaimed and National Award winning Marathi filmmaker Sachin Kundalkar. It will be Sachin’s first Hindi film and Rani will be seen opposite South actor Prithviraj. Amit Trivedi will be giving the music for the film which will go on floors next month.

The Malayalam actor will play a Tamil painter in his debut Bollywood flick

Prithviraj is gearing up for his debut in B'town that will begin next month when he starts filming opposite Rani Mukherjee for the movie Ayya. Earlier this year, Prithvi had signed the deal for the Anurag Kashyap-produced movie. Anurag and his team were reportedly impressed with the actor's performances in some of his Mollywood movies and consequently offered him the lead role in the offbeat film. Ayya will mark the Bollywood debut of National Award-winning Marathi director Sachin Kundalkar.

"I play a young Tamil painter in the film that narrates the love story between him and a Marathi girl (played by Rani). I'll also be dubbing for the movie in Hindi," says the actor, who has a Malayalam flick titled Indian Rupee coming up besides Mallu Singh and Mayflower.
